From Blue Songs by Hercules and Love Affair (their latest album). Reminds me of Mister Heartbreak by Laurie Anderson and also a bit of A Pox on the Pioneers by Andrew Weatherall.
Some of the other tracks are a bit harder to swallow, but this one goes down a treat.
